Museum of président Jacques Chirac

In a little village in France, Sarran, in the heart of the massif des Monédières in Corrèze you’ll stumble upon the Musée du président Jacques Chirac, houses a collection of gifts given to the President during his official duties. The gifts shows a bride variety of interesting and beautiful art and a lot of gifts with humor.
200 gifts given to the President in the course of his official duties, each presented in its context (domestic visits, state visits abroad, international summits, etc).

An introductory space outlines the history of the presidency of the Republic and its role within French institutions. The President’s visits in France and abroad are also described with the aid of interactive terminals. A large mural display illustrates all the state visits France has made and received since 1995.
