In Orbit – Human hamster wheel

For ten days in a Pierogi Gallery space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, artists Ward Shelley and Alex Schweder lived in “a giant hamster wheel,” a large installation called In Orbit. The two artists have inhabited a circular structure for 24 hours a day since february 28th, 2014. They ‘live’ on opposite ends of the wheel — one around the inside and another on the outside.
