Dutchville
Recently I’ve visited the NAI in Rotterdam and I was impressed by the exhibition ‘Dutchville’, realized by Tinker Imagineers. This exhibition with a narrative and experience character let the visitor explore how urban environment affects our life and how we feel. Six different characters with oppositional opinions accompany the experience and let us take part in different ways of thinking about the city and architecture. This exhibition takes us on a journey where the visitor travels from the ‘polder’ to contemporary architecture and finally gets a taste of future society where the visitor will explore how urbanisation and architecture affects the world. ‘Dutchville’ is an immersive exhibition with good timing and design.
