Wastelandscape

The installation ‘Wastelandscape’ which is created by French artist Elise Morin and architect Clémence Eliard, overtakes the ‘Halle d’Aubervilliers’ of Paris’s Centquatre until September 10th. The artists selected every single cd and join them together. 65,000 old CD’s are used in this installation.

“Made of petroleum, this reflecting slick of CDs forms a still sea of metallic dunes; the artwork’s monumental scale reveals the precious aspect of a small daily object.”
